Fees
What care costs, up front.
We are self-pay today. Our prices are posted here, and you get a written estimate before your first visit. We are working toward accepting insurance.
Visit prices
Prices depend on your clinician and the length of the visit. The price shown is the price you pay.
| Visit | Ben Berry, MD | Claudette Banda, CNM, PMHNP |
|---|---|---|
| First evaluation 60 minutes | $575 | $375 |
| Follow-up visit 30 minutes | $325 | $250 |
| Brief follow-up 15 minutes | $175 | $150 |
Payment is due at each visit. Lab tests, pharmacy costs and outside services are billed by those providers, not by us.
Using your insurance
We do not bill insurance yet, and we are not part of any insurance plan's network. We are working toward accepting insurance, but we do not have a date.
If you ask, we give you a superbill. It is a detailed receipt with the codes your insurance plan needs. You can send it to your plan to ask for out-of-network reimbursement. Many plans pay back part of the cost, but some pay nothing, so call your plan first and ask about "out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits."
Cancellations and missed visits
Our financial policy explains how much notice we need to cancel or reschedule, and any fee for a late cancellation or a missed visit. You read it and agree to it in the patient portal before your first visit.
Want to read it sooner? Email us for a copy of our financial policy.
If our technology fails and your visit cannot happen, you are not charged.
Your right to a Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
